Paintshop Equipment Monitoring Service
As part of compliance with various legislation, various equipment tests are required. These are undertaken as part of the ‘Professional Health and Safety Service’ or the  ‘Professional COSHH Service’ but are available as individual tests if required. Additional tests such as scale calibration are available as both a pro-active and re-active service to maintain the vital equipment required for the smooth running of a bodyshop.
We are able to perform the following tests for our customers. These are certificated where relevant.

Noise Survey: A full noise survey to comply with the Noise at work Regulations. We also offer consultation on all aspects of hearing conservation. A tailored programme can be constructed to comprise of the following areas of activity. The measurement and identification of noise sources. The identification of those employees considered "at risk". Advice on the reduction of noise exposure. Advice on ear protection. Identification of hearing protection zones. Information, instruction and training of employees regarding hearing conservation. Industrial audiometric monitoring.

Breathing- Air Quality Testing: The quality of the compressed air supply to air fed masks is tested and certificated to BS 4275.

Oven Temperature Checks: Consistency of, and the correct oven baking temperatures are vital in any bodyshop and Morelli can perform oven temperature tests to identify any problem areas. A fixed probe is attached to the roof, bonnet, and sides of a vehicle and air temperature is also tested. A digital printout is produced showing the performance throughout the booth.

Scale Calibration: Either as a pro-active or re-active measure, manual mixing scales can be tested and certificated by Morelli technicians to correctly calibrate this vital piece of equipment.

PPR and RPE Monitoring: Morelli can conduct an inspection programme ensuring breathing apparatus are functioning correctly and that filters are changed regularly. A regular audit of operatives safety equipment can be conducted and training given as to its correct usage and maintenance, and a record keeping system is installed.
